Keeping it real, don't forget to stop and smell the roses...

Importantly, I agree with this article and I see it in people who are in tech fields.

I also see the more successful people are able to not get distracted, and focus on the things that move them to the finish line.

Sometimes its good to remove all the things that could distract you, and go to a park for an hour.

When you get back, focus on the things that might get you to the finish.   Break up those goals into smaller tasks.   Delegate or take on these tasks.  ...READ MORE

INTERPOL ALBUM COVER.

INTERPOL album cover.

Original INTERPOL logo was designed by David Calderly. The logo was build in lightwave and deconstructed for the album cover art. There is also a animation of it:

Dave Jerrad completes wwII footage that is stunning.

A friend of mine made this.

Dave is a veteran lightwave user, making several books, and awesome videos like this.

Tutorial on texturing

http://www.etereaestudios.com/training_img/solitario/solitario_en_01.htm

THis is a nice tutorial.  It's not lightwave specific but the ideas are the same.

The ideas here are good, and he has a little bit about post porcessing also.

You could easily do the same in lightwave, either using the nodal shaders or regular texturing.
