Please arrive at 7:00 PM, Our meeting will start at 7:30 pm.
We have possibly 2 speakers. Dave from Tres 3d will be speaking about using Lightwave to make 3d games for the Iphone,
and possibly Pete Sussi, of Miragemakers. He will be talking about some of the projects his company as created.
If Possible, please bring some images or animations for the group to discuss.
GMD will also be speaking about some landscape type projects he's been working on.
I'm bringing some character animation of the "quad rig" that's in the resource area. I animated it to a cat jumping cycle in the background. It worked, mostly. We'll talk about the getting the rig to fit other characters.
Please share any tips, tricks, information, works in progress, etc. I'm also asking for anyone who would like to be a speaker to email me. Any CGI topic is reasonable. If anyone has any animations or tutorials they found on the web, please put them on a thumb drive, or arrive early to download it from the web at the office.

Minutes,
We had a nice time with everyone. Some new faces, and also some old ones too.
Dave from Tres 3d, or Mission Critical Studios was going to demo his ipod game Dr Nano Created with Lightwave on his laptop, but putting it into hard drive mode, killed the seriel number and caused it not run. I got to see some of it though, very interesting stuff. GMD showed wonderful backgrounds for the Musicain Maxwell. (For backdrop lcd panels at the concert.) Very nice stuff, loved the undersea stuff, and also the jelly fish came out fantastic, (using cloth dynamics)
Panorama using the free stitching software Ice from Microsoft.
Parking on Allen st, from 7pm to 12pm midnight. Don't goto a garage, unless you have a brand new car.
