List of Changes and Fixes

Layout

  • Added drag-and-drop to Layout Windows version, based on the existing Mac version. Initial support for audio and lwo files.
  • Added support for images and OBJ files in drag-and-drop.
  • Added support for scene files to drag-and-drop.
  • Added drag-and-drop of image files to the Image Editor.
  • Fixed case 15484: Inactive bones cause mesh queries to fail. Corrected issue where undeformed meshes reported incorrect vertex positions.

Node Editor

  • Added a new material node called Carpaint. Sample renderings and UI image attached.

FiberFX

  • Revised integer interval math for the colorcache when smoothing is used.
  • Reduced colorcache array entries to expected value, undoing the change made in build 1445, which was a temporary approach.
  • Revised shading per-pixel transparency.

Cameras

  • Fixed Cases 10298 and 11233: Classic Camera DOF was missing in action since 9.3.1. A needed call to set up the iris sample position got removed for some reason. Call put back in.

Renderer

  • Fixed a bug in the ambient occlusion.
  • Implemented an attempted fix for Case 15181: CRITICAL: Badly rendered overlapping transparent surfaces and alphas. This needs intensive testing.
  • Fixed Case 15092: Transparent item inside a semi-transparent item is visible.
