Gmd was able to demonstrate this plugin at the last meeting, showing a parking lot full of cars. You can use more than one object to instance, and he changed the colors of the cars randomly. It rendered very fast, and looked like a lot full of cars, Nice.
Clone your object, change the clone's color, size, motion mixer start point, etc. Really one of the more powerful plugins for lightwave. I belive the trees were instances. The nice part, is there is no memory overhead, compared to actually loading all of those trees into layout. This plugin renders fast too.
