It is very handy to use in modeller as a bg. The round peices are seperate parts and I havent used any booleans yet. Ive been creating most of the geo by hand.

I like how you have the blueprints for side and top. That has got to be very helpful when modeling.
Do set that as background picture in modeler?
How are you merging the round pieces? Are you using fillets? They look really nice. Your not booleoning them are you?
