Incremental saver Video
I added this to youtube.The incremental saver plugin is great. Save your scenes with an 001, 002,003. You waste hd space, but if it crashes and the file gets corrupted, (which i've run into this) you simply goback to the last incremental save. Just make it a habit to hit the incremental save button every hour, or so. Included in the video, how to add a plugin, and assign it to a button on the menu system.Hope this saves you one day.Antonio

Ideas for the User group
Hello,
I was thinking of making a second authenticaed User type in which only people who actually participate become escalated to. I would dare to call this group "Core Members".
I'm not sure but people might not want to post work they did to the public.
Of course this new type of user would have access to all posts. Regular users who sign up will not be of this type of user and only have access to memeber posts.
This would mean any posts by core members would have a toggle if they wanted other core members to see, or everyone.
Throwing out ideas.

Anti Gimble lock setup or Joint Feature in lw9.6 which one.

I was thinking of doing a group animation. Before we all cringe, at the word work, lets make it as easy as possible. Grab objects that you have seen free on the web. Post them here in the comments.(be sure to write a note as to where you got them + a name, so in the credits we can add it in) A master zip will be created that has all the scenes, objects and images, and amended to this original post with a date format so you know if yours is older or not.

This is thanks to Joe and William who also let me know they are very happy to meet
all the New York Lightwave users in our group.
The directions are the same for the Splashlight open house.
Splashlight is located at One Hudson Square, 75 Varick Street
(at the corner of Canal Street), Third Floor, New York City.
There is parking near Splashlight, on N Moore street near Hudson or about that area
near the water. (The alternate side changes there at 6:30pm so your chances are good)

zProjects
Please add zProjects to the tag of your post to show up under this View.
Projects will be group related, anybody will be able to download and upload attachments to add to the "shot".
I am proposing a "what's missing" Group projects. Where people can upload a shot
and members of the group can try to add what's missing.
The bare minimum will be some sort of set, lighting setup, and Main Object.
A set can be as simple as a poly set at ground level, and using the image world
plugin.
I will upload a starter set for anybody to use.
