THis is a great example of a movie in the CloverField Genre.

The Monster looks great.  Sub surface shaders really have made wet skin look great.  There is great interaction between the actors and the Monster.  All in all really well done.  Be prepared for subtitles.

The politics of this Movie scare the crap out of me.  Is that what it's really like to live in china.

So in the future you will be able to play a movie, instead of watch a movie.

Like the city background. THe cars look great.

If you look in the above video, the guy has an interface of the city that's in the below movie.
It's like fprime, sort of, but instant. Imagine, the render button is gone, and you just put stuff in
and it's already rendered for you as move stuff around. (near future?)

I have this great idea.
We'll do a whole movie with little dogs. We would match move them into live action plates, replace their faces with cg so we can make them talk. Then we clone them for huge dance sequences, and make a nice virtual set for them. SO we don't have to do as much match moving. How about a huge pyramid, where there are dog statues.
Ya ya, and the lead dog has a bunch of girl dogs that fawn over him. And somehow the lead character moves to Beverly Hills.
Ya..

Oh and lets make it a Chihuahua.

Nicktoons.com has a contest.  First prize is $30k and thier stuido helps promote your idea into a series.

I really wonder if some of the crap on nicktoons, was the result of this contest.  I've lately seen stuff that

makes no sense, at all.  And this is what Our kids watch.....?  You know the saying garbage in... garbage out.

I would like to make some sort of Show that teaches grammer.  So many kids today are so bad....

I read a report that, teachers are recieving reports with lol, and other web acronyms, no puncuation, etc.

This is the result of every kid having a texting ability on thier phone.

Just a funny little thing here.

I'm building a New PC to do LIghtwave, But I am extremely cheap.  :)  After Spending thousands for computers over the years and it's all obsolete,
I've gone the other route.  Buy stuff that is cheap, and then wait for the next big thing to come out pushing the last big thing out to clearance centers.
It started off as a lark, but I've made it pretty far so far, I'm really almost there....Here are the details.
